Feeling exhausted? You’re not alone. As modern day women, we are super busy, taking care of everyone but ourselves, overworked, stressed out, with way too much going. We are exhausted from trying to do it all and do it all perfectly. We need a break to rest and renew with other women who get it.

Our retreats were created because we believe women need a safe space to unplug and take a few days to take care of themselves. To spend time with other amazing women while nourishing mind, body, and soul.

This Retreat is Right for You if…

Why a Community of Women?

We believe in the healing power of a group of women coming together to create a safe space to connect, to create, to have deep, meaningful conversations, to set life intentions, to nourish and rest, and to remind each other that each and every one of us matter. To remind each other of our own strength and wisdom that we carry as women and human beings.

In our current digital world we are more connected than ever yet feel more alone than we ever have before. At the Bodhi Tree we see our retreats as opportunities for women to reconnect in a real way. That means unplugging from our smart devices, not networking or talking about work, but having real conversations about who we are as people and what are stresses and resiliency looks like. To inspire each other and lift each other up. And to be real.

Your Retreat Leader:

Your retreat was designed and created by Lindy Ariff, LCSW. Not only is she the founder of the Bodhi Tree Institute, she is an expert in mental health and wellness. That means that she understands the depth of human experiences, knows how to create safe space, and understands the need for rest and renewal in our modern world.  Plus she has the credentials and experience to help you overcome hardships, feel more confident, and find balance and peace in your life.

“This short retreat gave us a taste of what it would be like if we could press pause on our life, and run away to recover ourselves. We put zero expectations on ourselves. There were no responsibilities, no plans, no schedule, no-one telling you to get up and stop being lazy. We even attempted to turn off the nagging voices in our heads telling us we weren’t doing enough. We had the option to take a walk, color, read, journal, nap, take a bath or sit in the sauna or hot tub. Life felt simple for two days.

I had time to reflect on the pace of my life. We made vision boards of what we wanted for our future. We ate cookies without telling ourselves “you’re going to get fat.” We cooked delicious meals and broke bread together. We supported each other with advice, a shoulder to cry on, and an ear to listen. I didn’t know most of the girls well before the weekend, but by the end I felt a deep bond of sisterhood with these ladies.

It was just what we needed to take a moment for self reflection and self care. We took time to re-evaluate our priorities in life and seek advice on big changes we were seeking. It helped me recenter and reenter society with an awareness for my own needs as much as others. Weekends like these feel essential to our own survival as women.”
